Introduction
Mr. HUI Chi-yan Wilford, who is aged 37, has been married since 2009. He is now rearing two sons.
Mr. HUI, who is an active, outgoing, courageous and persist person, keen on sports. Thus, in the leisure time, he usually participates in different kinds of sports activities such as running, swimming, windsurfing, hiking and other adventure activities. The above activities not only raise his physical fitness, but also satisfy his curiosity.
Besides, Mr. HUI believes sports which bring joy to people and even enhance personal accomplishment. Through sports, people can gain different virtues such as patient, brave, persist, active, fair, and adventure. So, he believes sports as a good tools to educate people.
Mr. HUI is also a well-equipped person and study continuously in his spare time. He has already studied different courses to enrich his knowledge and skills such as counseling, management, coaching to fulfill career need.
Education
In primary education, from 1984 to 1991, Mr. HUI studied in Mun Sang College from P1 to P2 and studied in Lutheran St. Mathew Primary School from P3 to P6.
In secondary education, from 1991 to 1999, he studied in Sing Yin Secondary School.
In tertiary education, in tertiary education, he had graduated in three tertiary institutions.
From 1999 to 2001, he studied Diploma in Social Work (Full-time) in Hong Kong Polytechnics University.
From 2001 to 2003, he studied Certificate in Secondary Education (Full-time) in the Hong Kong Institute of Education. His major study is physical education and minor study is social studies.
From 2008 to 2011, he studied in Advanced Diploma in Recreation and Sports Management (Part-time) in HKU SPACE.
Training
Mr. HUI participated in different kinds on sports and gained several valued qualification in the past.
In 2002, Mr. HUI completed Level-1 Athletics Coach Course and Level-1 Athletics Judge Course in HKAAA, and Running Instructor Course in Australian Training For Fitness Professionals.
In 2003 & 2006, he completed Brozen Medallion in The HK Living Saving Society.
In 2004, he completed the Indoor Rowing Trainer Workshop in HK China Rowing Association.
From 1999 to 2011, he completed several windsurfing courses in HK Windsurfing Association which were Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Funboard, Shortbaord, RS-X and Open Sea Award Certificate.
Work Experience
Mr. HUI, who had already worked in different fields, was a athletics coach, teacher and social worker. And he is now a policeman.
From 2002 to 2003, Mr. HUI was a part-time athletic coach in Lok Tao Secondary School, and HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.3 Secondary School. He was responsible for planning and executing training programme for students, and preparing and arranging school team to participate in competition.
From 2003 to 2004, he was a school teacher in Evangelize China Fellowship Holy Word School. He taught PE, General Studies, Mathematics, Computer Application. Besides, he provided counseling service for students.
From 2004 to 2006, he was a social work assistant in Chai Wan Baptist Church Social Service. He was responsible for managing the center service and facilities. Besides, he designated and evaluated youth development programme for students.
From 2006 to now, he is a police constable in Hong Kong Police Force. His present posting is in Airport Security Unit (ASU) which is responsible for executing anti-terrorism internal security in HK International Airport. Moreover, he designs and executes physical training and team building programme for colleagues. Futhermore, he is also a representative of Welfare Committee(Airport District) to improve welfare of colleagues.
